I had an issue with the two 10mm bolts for the heat shield - the bolt that is further back, closer to the exhaust had to be replaced. A mechanic told me to somehow make my transmission shift more firm into 2nd gear if I keep losing the 2nd This is a patch job, but if it holds up until I can get the money to rebuild my own. It was still in 2nd gear, so I called an older gentleman who has worked on and repaired transmissions for more than 25 years. There were two gears in 2nd, so it would shift straight into 2nd and then a second shift would follow. It was because my 1998 GMC K1500 with a delayed shift going into 2nd gear that led me to buying this servo.
